Tungsten iron ore is an important metal ore widely used in fields such as tungsten steel and alloys. However, there are some difficulties in the mining and beneficiation process of wolframite. To address these issues, we conducted experiments on selecting tungsten iron ore. This article will introduce the operating steps and results of the tungsten iron ore selection test.
1、 Background of the experiment
Tungsten iron ore is an important metal ore widely used in fields such as tungsten steel and alloys. However, there are some difficulties in the mining and beneficiation process of wolframite. For example, tungsten iron ore has a high hardness and severe wear, which affects the beneficiation effect; There are many impurities in wolframite, which affect the quality of wolframite. To address these issues, we conducted experiments on selecting tungsten iron ore.
2、 Test purpose
The main purpose of this experiment is to explore an efficient and low-cost method for selecting wolframite, improving the quality and beneficiation efficiency of wolframite.
3、 Test method
1. Sample preparation
We collected a batch of tungsten iron ore samples from a certain tungsten iron ore mine, and processed them through crushing, grinding, and other processes to prepare samples that meet the test requirements.
2. Test equipment
The equipment used in this experiment includes: ball mill, concentrator, flotation machine, etc.
3. Test steps
(1) Ball mill grinding: Place the prepared sample into a ball mill for grinding treatment to obtain finely ground tungsten iron ore powder.
(2) Concentrator beneficiation: The finely ground tungsten iron ore powder is placed in the concentrator for beneficiation treatment to obtain concentrate and tailings.
(3) Flotation machine flotation: Put the concentrate into the flotation machine for flotation treatment to obtain tungsten iron ore flotation concentrate.
4、 Test results
After testing, we have obtained a batch of tungsten iron ore flotation concentrates, which have significantly improved their quality and beneficiation efficiency. The specific results are as follows:
1. Improvement of tungsten iron ore quality
After testing, the tungsten content in the tungsten iron ore flotation concentrate we obtained reached over 90%, and the impurity content was effectively controlled. This indicates that our experimental method can effectively improve the quality of wolframite.
2. Improvement of beneficiation efficiency
After testing, the recovery rate of the tungsten iron ore flotation concentrate we obtained has reached over 80%, and the recovery rate of the tailings has been effectively controlled. This indicates that our experimental method can effectively improve the beneficiation efficiency.
5、 Conclusion
The results of this tungsten iron ore selection experiment indicate that our test method can effectively improve the quality and beneficiation efficiency of tungsten iron ore. We will continue to explore more efficient and low-cost methods for selecting wolframite, making greater contributions to the mining and application of wolframite.
