1、 Test purpose

2、 Experimental principle
Gravity beneficiation utilizes the different effects of gravity on mineral particles in liquids or gases to achieve the separation and purification of minerals. In the gravity beneficiation of zirconium titanium sand, sedimentation and centrifugation methods are mainly used.
The settling method utilizes the principle of mineral particles settling under the action of gravity in a liquid. By adjusting the density and viscosity of the liquid, the settling speed of mineral particles with different densities is different, achieving the separation of minerals.
The centrifugation method uses the principle of centrifugal force to separate mineral particles. By adjusting the speed and centrifugal factor of the centrifuge, mineral particles of different densities are separated under the action of centrifugal force.
3、 Test steps
1. Sample preparation
After rough selection, intermediate selection, and selection, a 60% grade zirconium titanium sand sample is obtained.
2. Test equipment
The equipment used in this experiment includes gravity concentrator, centrifuge, electronic balance, microscope, etc.
3. Test operation
(1) Settlement method
Mix the zirconium titanium sand sample with the liquid, adjust the density and viscosity of the liquid, so that the settling speed of mineral particles with different densities is different, and achieve mineral separation.
(2) Centrifugal method
Mix the zirconium titanium sand sample with the liquid and place it in a centrifuge. By adjusting the centrifuge speed and centrifugal factor, mineral particles of different densities are separated under the action of centrifugal force.
4. Test results

4、 Conclusion
This experiment shows that gravity beneficiation technology is an effective method for zirconium titanium sand beneficiation, which can improve the grade and recovery rate of zirconium titanium sand. In actual production, appropriate gravity beneficiation methods should be selected based on the properties and beneficiation requirements of different ores to achieve the best beneficiation effect.
